⚙️ Features & Functionality
No, the alarm and timer need the browser tab to remain open and active to function properly. Closing the tab or putting your device to sleep will stop the countdown or prevent the alert from sounding. Keep the tab active for reliable operation.
Currently, e-clock.top uses a default alarm sound that works reliably across all devices and browsers. Custom alarm sounds, multiple sound options, and volume controls are planned features for future updates.
The world clock uses reliable time zone APIs to provide accurate time for cities worldwide. It automatically accounts for daylight saving time changes and updates every minute to ensure precision.
The weather feature automatically detects your location using your IP address (via ipapi.co) and fetches current weather data from Open-Meteo API. This provides real-time temperature, humidity, wind speed, and weather conditions for your area.
Currently, you can run one timer at a time. However, you can use the timer and stopwatch simultaneously as they operate independently. Multiple concurrent timers are being considered for future updates.
🔒 Privacy & Security
e-clock.top only collects your IP address to determine your approximate location for weather services. No personal data, browsing history, or identifying information is stored. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Yes! We don't store any personal data on our servers. All timer and alarm settings are stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers. Your privacy and security are our priorities.
We use minimal cookies only for essential functionality like remembering your light/dark mode preference. No tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies are used.
🔧 Troubleshooting
Try these solutions:
Check your device's volume settings
Ensure your browser allows audio playback

You're using a VPN that masks your actual location
Your network blocks location services
There's a temporary issue with weather data providers
Your browser is blocking location detection
Try refreshing the page or disabling VPN temporarily.
