Why use a visual countdown timer in the classroom?

Visual timers show time passing as a shrinking color bar, helping students—including young learners and students with ADHD—gauge how much time remains for group activities, reading, or quizzes without anxiety.

Can I mute the alarm or use a gentle chime for quiet reading or exams?

Yes. You can choose between a Gentle Chime, Classic Bell, or Silent Visual Flash so you never startle students during quiet work or exams.

Why Teachers Love Using a Fullscreen Visual Classroom Timer

Displaying a fullscreen visual countdown timer on a classroom projector or interactive whiteboard helps students manage their own time during station rotations, warm-up bell ringers, think-pair-share discussions, and timed quizzes.
